Periodic Wave Solutions to Dispersive Long-Wave Equations in (2+1)-Dimensional Space

Periodic wave solutions to the dispersive long-wave equations are obtained by using the F-expansion method, which can be thought of as a generalization of the Jacobi elliptic function method. In the limit case, solitary wave solutions are obtained as well.     

High relative accuracy with some special matrices related to Γ and β functions

For some families of totally positive matrices using $\mathrm{\Gamma }$ and $\beta$ functions, we provide their bidiagonal factorization. Moreover, when these functions are defined over integers, we prove that the bidiagonal factorization can be computed with high relative accuracy and so we can compute with high relative accuracy their eigenvalues, singular values, inverses and the solutions of some associated linear systems. We provide numerical examples illustrating this high relative accuracy.     

Totally real flat minimal surfaces in the hyperquadric

In this paper, we study geometry of totally real minimal surfaces in the complex hyperquadric $Q_{N-2}$, and obtain some characterizations of the harmonic sequence generated by these minimal immersions. For totally real flat surfaces that are minimal immersed in both $Q_{N-2}$ and $\mathbb{C}{P}^{N-1}$, we determine them for $N=4,5,6$, and give a classification theorem when they are Clifford solutions.
